DANIEL NYUTU

Daniel is the Managing Director of the Centre for Strategy and Management. In addition, he has over 14 years’ experience as the leader of Balance Scorecard and strategy practice for the Centre for Strategy and Management.  He has a strong experience and success in the area of business strategy and performance management system. Specifically, he has developed expertise in;

  • Business Strategic Management, incorporating Strategic Planning and Change Management that ensures successful implementation of strategy.
  • Business Performance management using the now popular global best practice methodology, the balanced score card (BSC).
  • Blue Ocean Strategy Expert.

He has been involved in some of the most transformative Strategy & BSC implementations in the region, delivering over 200 projects and training over 10,000 staff. These projects include Kenya Reinsurance corporation, National Social Security Fund, Tanzania, Kenya School of Government BSC programs, Commission on Revenue Allocation, Galana Oil, Kadet MFI (owned by World Vision), Geminia Insurance, Savannah Cement, Government of Gambia in partnership with UNDP. Etc.

He currently holds BA (Hons) degree in International Marketing at Philips University where he studied International Marketing, Human Resource Management, Economics and Corporate Strategy. Also undertook a Masters in Missiology & Divinity at Dominion Leadership University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

At the Strategy Center, He is responsible for;

* Business advisory services to clients

* Strategic Planning development for clients

* Balanced scorecard development and implementation in client companies

* Managing clients project to ensure quality delivery as per TORs

* Driving consultancy business growth and introduction of new programs to boost revenues


KARIM SULEIMAN

Karim is a budding consultant at the Center for Strategy and Management. He specializes in Strategy and Management as well as Business Research. He has 8 years’ experience with training and implementation of the Balance Scorecard and strategy practice for the Center for Strategy and Management.

Karim has extensive strategy experience with over 100 successful strategy projects.

During his time at the company he has also undertaken a Market Research assignment for Japanese Investors regarding the African markets in Congo DRC, South Sudan and Botswana

He is a Bachelor of Commerce (major in Business Information Systems) graduate of the University of Nairobi’s School of Business. He intends to start his MBA programme in 2021.


Alex Sapala BSc (Hons), BBA, ACA, ACCA
Alex is currently an EMEA Currencies Product Controller at JP Morgan Chase, a top-tier London-based US investment bank. Alex graduated from Oxford Brookes University in the UK and University of Nicosia in Cyprus and embarked on a career in accountancy, qualifying with Deloitte as a Chartered Accountant and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the ACCA, achieving the Bronze Medal for 3rd place worldwide in his final ACCA exams.

During his time there he worked on a variety of projects with organisations ranging from small enterprises, universities, charities, banks, local government, manufacturing to FTSE 100 companies. He was also actively involved in the training and development needs of the Audit and Assurance Group. His clients included Southbank University, Save the Children, A C O R D, Fossil, HSBC and Morgan Sindall

Since leaving Deloitte Alex has worked within financial markets both in trading finance and operational risk including 3 ½ years in Global Banking and Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group. Over the last 15 years Alex has been involved in training & development programmes across the organisations he has worked with.
In his spare time Alex enjoys travelling, cycling and photography. He also maintains a keen interest in football and playing the odd round of table tennis.


ERASTUS OUKO

Ouko has more than 10 years of experience offering business growth support to enterprises in East Africa helping them to improve profitability and sustainability.

He is an experienced trainer and consultant certified by the International Labour Organization with proven expertise in designing and implementing entrepreneurship and personal management programs collaborating with institutions such as ILO, Youth Fund, Equity, The Youth Banner, Africa Youth Trust, Ministry of Labour and county governments of Nairobi, Kisumu and Mombasa.

Ouko holds a Masters of Leadership from Moi University; post graduate certificate in Public Policy from University of California, Los Angeles; Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University; Certificate in project management from Swedish public employment service; and assorted certificates in Blue Ocean Strategy Development and training on the Balanced Score card.

He is a leader and member of the  league of professionals and entrepreneurs; the Passion Profit network; representative in the Kenya Private Sector Alliance; board member of Decent Work and Labour Rights in East Africa program; board member of LYP investment limited


BEATRICE WANJIKU NJUGUNA

Beatrice is a highly skilled HR practitioner with over 17 years’ experience in the Public & private Sector with great understanding on how organizations can optimize their human capital

She holds a Masters in Administration & Management (Public Policy & Administration) from Mt. Kenya University, a Bachelor of Business Management (Human Resource Management) from The Moi University, Kenya  and a Diploma, Human Resource Management  from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

She is a Certified Human Resource Professional as a Full registered member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).

Beatrice has been involved in HR advisory services in multiple clients in Kenya, recently being the Vice- Chairlady of the Kirinyaga County Public Service Board.
